Ron Auch is the founder of Pray-Tell Ministries. This ministry is dedicated to teaching principles of prayer and directed to the enhancing of one's personal prayer life. Ron holds a B.A. degree from North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has worked toward his Master's degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.
In 1980 God dealt very deeply with Ron concerning his personal prayer life. After attending a prayer seminar taught by Dick Eastman he made a commitment to pray a minimum of an hour a day. Eight months later he was teaching prayer seminars full-time, and started Pray-Tell Ministries in 1981.
Pray-Tell Ministries' (PTM) sole purpose is to challenge the Church back to prayer. However, odd as it may seem, prayer is not the ultimate goal of this ministry, Ron's desire is to get people to want God. The lack of prayer comes from the lack of desire for God. You cannot have great desires for God and remain prayerless.
Ron is convinced that if all people try to do is develop the religious practice of praying more, they will eventually become proud of how much they pray. Prayer would then lose its heart and ultimate purpose, which is intimacy with God. Though PTM is a prayer ministry; creating a desire to be with God is its ultimate goal. A deep desire for God will result in much prayer, which develops the same heart King David had. A heart for God.
Ron founded and is currently pastoring Prayer House Assembly of God in Kenosha, WI.
